Huawei Introduces the New FreeBuds 7i: Featuring Borderless Spatial Audio and Head Movement Control

Huawei has announced the FreeBuds 7i, the newest addition to its wireless earbuds series. The earbuds, which will go on sale in USA on September 30, 2025, come with advanced audio technologies and useful features.

The HUAWEI FreeBuds 7i is equipped with the brand’s latest Intelligent Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) 4.0 technology. This technology aims to provide a clearer and more uninterrupted sound experience by effectively blocking out ambient noise. According to the shared information, the earbuds analyze ambient noise 384,000 times per second and automatically optimize sound settings based on the user’s ear structure and surroundings.

The earbuds are claimed to offer up to 35 hours of music playback with ANC turned off. Compatible with Android and iOS devices, the FreeBuds 7i supports dual-device connection, allowing users to switch seamlessly between devices. They also boast IP54 certification for dust and water resistance.

Head Movement Control and Intuitive Use

The FreeBuds 7i offers a feature that can be controlled with head movements. Users can answer incoming calls by nodding their head (making a ‘yes’ sign) or reject them by shaking their head side-to-side. This feature provides a highly convenient solution for situations when hands are busy.

Furthermore, the earbuds offer a 360-degree sound experience with borderless spatial audio technology. A six-axis head movement sensor tracks the user’s head movements to keep the sound field stable. Users can also adjust the sound quality with 10-band equalizer settings to personalize their audio experience.

The FreeBuds 7i features an AI-powered bone conduction microphone and three additional microphones. This technology aims to improve call quality by separating the human voice from ambient noise.
